國語日報/中學生報/第508期I am Sangeeta. I am so glad to read the Youth Journal. We are going to mark different vocabularies with different colors and discover our inner rhythm.
Meloni becomes Italy's first woman prime minister.
Italy turned a page of European history by electing a hard-right coalition led by Giorgia Meloni, a high school graduate.
Her long record of bashing the European Union and migrants has sown concern about the nation's reliability in the Western alliance.
Meloni's ultraconservative party, Brothers of Italy, descended from the remnants of fascism.
The party formed the country's first far right-led government since World War II, with Meloni at the helm(舵柄) as Italy's first female premier.
Meloni's victory lurched Italy, a founding member of the EU and its third-largest economy, sharply to the far-right.
The victory of Meloni comes at a critical time for Europe.
Sanctions against Russia are driving up inflation.
Ms. Meloni knows Italians' main concerns are an acute cost of living crisis and spiraling energy costs.

For me, the first article shows many vocabularies that I didn’t use very often. Why did I choose this article for you/teenagers,when we know what is happening right now in the world, we could be rooted and grounded ourselves in the world, although European countries are far away from the place we live now.

The second article is related to the environment and technology.
New hybrid-electric aircrafts make the air cleaner.
With investments from Air Canada and Saab, Heart Aerospace will build a 30-seat hybrid-electric aircraft called the ES-30.
On September 15th, the Swedish company revealed its new design with room for more passengers than previously, making it a plane that's up to snuff for industry needs.
At full capacity, the aircraft will have a range of 200km.
By 2024, Heart's proof-of-concept aircraft should be ready, with test flights beginning 2026.
